Pro Vocal Lessons in London
One of the best web resources for singers, covering anything from vocal techniques and health issues to open mic guide, is www.vocalist.org.uk
If you'd like to own some really good sounding backing tracks to practise to, you can either head to Denmark Street (near Tottenham Court Road tube) and visit one of the many music shops there. You normally get a book with full score and a CD or two.
Alternatively, go to one of the online shops, for example:
www.ameritz.co.uk - the best downloads of pro sounding backings (just £1.50 per track!)
www.ukmusicbooks.com/vocalcd.html or www.chappellofbondstreet.co.uk
You can also get some of the backing tracks via iTunes or any other online mp3 retailer. You'd have to find lyrics yourself, though!
